Occupational therapists are concerned with the small muscle groups of the arm and hand. They assess how a child uses these small muscles to manipulate objects. Also, they assess the child's play skills and how he/she perceives their world through the use of their senses.

We perform a detailed evalutaion to determine need for services, establish a baseline level of function, and aid in planning appropriate treament goals. In addition to traditional treatment techniques, we provide:

  • sensory integration evaluation and treatment
  • neurodevelopmental treatment
  • visual perceptual skill evaluation and training
  • handwriting evaluation and programming, "Handwriting Without Tears"
  • feeding evaluation and therapy relatede to sensory integration issues
  • activities for daily living
  • therapeutic listening program
  • interactive metronome training
